Teachers Needed for growing Head Start Program
HEAD TEACHERS NEEDED For Infant and Toddler classrooms (Preschool positions available also)
Full-time positions in Waterbury
Responsibilities will include 1) lesson planning, 2) supervising classroom staff and volunteers, 3) coordinating classroom activities, 4) parent conferences and home visits, 5) participating in regular staff meetings, 6) maintaining NAEYC accreditation and Early Head Start standards, 7) maintaining all required documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of an Bachelor's degree in Early Education and at least two years experience with infants and toddlers. Must have knowledge of Early Head Start performance standards, School Readiness goals and Connecticut Early Learning and Development standards.
