Intense Behavioral Direct Support Professional $15.00 - $20.00 Part Time, Full Time, On Call and Per Diem Hamden and Floater
Psychology degree preferred and experience working with extremely physical behaviors in a proactive and supportive manner as well as experience with dually diagnosed individuals with mental health issues, autism, and developmental disabilities. Per Diem, On-Call, Part Time
We are willing to pay $17 per hour if the person meets all these expectations or if the person has strong behavioral background and able to manage severe crisis and extreme intervention techniques.
Must participate in direct care, monitor and maintain documentation, successfully manage the behavioral issues for the individuals assigned, and be able to assess and analyze behavioral/crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention/assistance.
Performs other duties as designated by the Manager and Assistant Manager.
VALID CT DRIVER'S LICENSE FOR ONE YEAR WITH ACCEPTABLE DRIVER HISTORY
MUST HAVE OR OBTAIN CPR AND FIRST AID
MUST DEMONSTRATE WORKING WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT TO INDIVIDUALS
PROVEN SKILLS RELATED TO A CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT
MUST DEMONSTRATE ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WITHOUT SUPERVISION AND AS A TEAM MEMBER
MUST DEMONSTRATE COMMITMENT TO SELF-
DETERMINATION AND ADVOCACY
SIGNING OF NON-SOLICITATION AGREEMENT REQUIRED
ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE IN HUMAN SERVICES OR RELATED FIELD REQUIRED
