The In-store Merchandising & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing all retail merchandising strategies, with a focus on building brand awareness and customer engagement in the Edible Arrangements stores.

* Build/reinforce the retail brands position in the marketplace through visual media

* Stimulate consumer interest and drive traffic into the stores

* Influence purchasing decisions and conversion

* Engage the consumer with the decision-making process and drive them to convert in-store

* Provide associates with knowledge to assist with the selling process

* Act as a project manager, across functional areas, to coordinate communication, timeline, and deliverables for flawless execution of campaigns, events and product launches

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage budget for generic display materials and corporate campaigns

* Track vendor marketing dollars and allocate to various campaigns, events, media

* Evaluate cost/benefit equation related to marketing spend

* Work with Product team to establish a compelling front-door campaign rotation

* Identify external creative, graphic and logistics partners for campaign development

* Manage cross functional activity (internal & external) to execute marketing events

* Analyze execution and results of collaborative marketing campaigns

* Collaborate with internal teams to develop communication to stores, regarding new product introductions

* Inform stores of product exclusivity and provide direction for highlighting to the consumer

* Create and manage the printing of marketing/clienteling collateral Merchandising Standards and Visual Guidelines

* Enforce policies regarding signage, POP materials and Store Layout

* Create an appealing in-store shopping environment

* Evaluate and modify fixtures to accommodate visual requirements as well as inventory objectives (partnering with Buying and Planning on assortment sizes and inventory turn goals)

* Develop merchandise floor plans and product flow based on various store designs and assortment plans

* Track visual display capabilities and measurements by store (windows, lightboxes, video capability)

* Maintaining up-to-date visual library of stores (internal-fixtures & external-windows)

* Select/approve vendor POP, based on Buyers assortment selection and vendors marketing campaigns

* Order, manage stock and control store allocation of props and display materials

* Set-up of displays with pictures to be sent to stores as examples

* Responsible for all things related to the look and feel of the stores

* Develops an in-store experience that drives traffic and builds customer loyalty

* Leads the strategy and process management for the signage kit

* Manage the content for the digital menu board in-store

* Creates holiday and non-holiday store planograms, as necessary

* Sets direction for signage on delivery vans and all other store-related assets (interior and exterior signs etc)

* Continuously builds knowledge on products to maximize merchandising efforts

* Participates in new store openings and remodels, as needed

* Monitors sales patterns and remerchandises accordingly to grow sales

* Educates operations team on areas that have been remerchandised

* Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor degree with concentration in Sales Merchandising or related field preferred

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills

* 3+ years strong retail merchandising management/brand management and/or marketing experience. Specialty Food retail experience within a franchise system is highly desirable

* Clear demonstration of leadership, team commitment and ability to influence high-level decision making

* Strong influencing and communication skills (i.e. verbal communication, presentation skills, ability to handle/overcome resistance, drive conversations to constructive closure, etc.). Experience communicating complex ideas/topics clearly and concisely

* Adept at resource allocation, navigating complex multi-channel organizations, strengthening franchisee relationships, and altering plans for best outcomes

* Travel required - 10%SDL2017
