Description

Continuity Account Manager

Continuity is a fast-paced RegTech company looking to add an Account Manager to its growing team in New Haven, CT. The Account Manager role is tasked with managing, nurturing, and growing enterprise accounts in a B2B, SaaS environment. This position reports to the Director of Account Management, and is responsible for ensuring the success of a portfolio of financial institutions who have chosen to partner with Continuity to improve their compliance functions.

Role Overview:

Dedicated Relationship - Each client enjoys an ongoing relationship with a member of the Account Management team. This relationship provides clients with an advocate that knows them and their organization intimately. Critical components of this role are:

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors

* Serve as the client's single point of escalation

* Link clients to necessary resources at Continuity in order to overcome obstacles and deliver additional value

Client Success Management - Account Managers monitor critical metrics on a continuous basis to measure the usage and adoption of each of their clients. The account manager provides real-time support and guidance in order to foster client success. Daily activities include:

* Working with the boarding team to ensure successful adoption in the first 30,60,90 days of the engagement

* Monitoring use of contracted products and services to identify areas of improvement and growth

* Forecasting and track client metrics, and deploy tactics to drive usage and expansion

* Assist in providing client support via phone, email and live chat as needed

Strategic Status Updates - Account Managers keep their clients up to date with their own progress, industry updates, and news from Continuity to keep everyone on the same page. This includes:

* Knowing and reporting trends and updates on client usage to identify opportunities for growth

* Providing overview of product enhancements

* Measuring success based on client-identified goals

Renewal & Upgrade Pipeline - Account Managers are responsible for overseeing and executing on successful renewal and expansion opportunities in order to ensure their clients get the most value out of their Continuity subscription. Account Managers are expected to:

* Create and foster the best subscription structure for each client renewal

* Identify opportunities for product upgrades and other expansion activities

* Forecast and manage the tasks required to execute each subscription renewal or product upgrade

Preferred Skills:

* Ability to quickly learn and master the use of new tools and systems

* Capacity to train and coach clients and fellow team members in order to reach objectives

* Willingness to think and act outside the box in order to contribute to the organization's goals

* Banking or financial industry and SaaS or software experience a plus

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field preferred.

* 2?4 years of successful account management for similar product/company or other relevant full-time experience in customer service.

* Understanding of the elements of a SaaS client lifecycle.

* Experience working with a fast-paced, results oriented team.

* Strong ability to analyze product usage data and campaign results.

* Prior use/ experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software a must.

* Self-motivated, goal oriented, team player and dependable.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Proven ability to manage projects from conception to end, meeting deadlines.

* Detail-oriented and well organized, with strong social skills.

* Ability to work effectively, independently, and as part of a team.

* A self-starter who is resilient under pressure.

* Effective problem solver and creative thinker.

What Continuity Offers:

* Base salary plus commissions, with total projected annual earnings between $80,000 - $100,000.
