TTI Emerging Account Member (TEAM)
The TTI Emerging Accounts Member (TEAM) sells company products and services via telephone, e-mail and in person to assigned customers in territory. Penetrates and develops accounts that have been inactive or have only done small amounts of business with TTI in the last two years to mine those accounts and generate new business. Success is measured by securing new business, meeting defined sales objectives, and performing all duties with a high ethical standard and exceeding all customer requirements.
Makes sales calls (via telephone or in-person) on accounts that have been identified with large DSAM potential, however, they are accounts that have never done business with TTI, or have small amounts of activity, or have been inactive for the last two years, by contacting the customer, informing the customer of TTI's products and value added services, and creating the relationship with appropriate personnel to win new business for TTI.
Increases customer account base by compiling list of prospective customer leads from various sources and makes cold calls. The number of new customers will increase based on this activity.
Processes the customer's order by entering it into the sales database for quote processing and delivery schedules. Requires eye for detail, proof reading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations. Failure to process and review in a timely manner can result to a loss of parts and lead time with factories. This is measured by your customers on time delivery and RMA rate.
Expands product knowledge by utilizing all resources including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers and other sales representatives to be able to discuss product options with customers and sell TTI strengths.
Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain efficient sales cycle, following logical and systematic approaches, while the goal being to reduce sales errors and uphold quality to the highest level. This is measured by how many lines are shipped per sales person and determined how many lines were on time and crossed checked for errors.
Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products and market strategy by preparing forecast and activity reports on account territory.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma - some college preferred with 1-3 years of sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

?? Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
?? Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
?? Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages.
?? Ability to write reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally.
- Reads, analyzes and interprets business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
?? Able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions.
?? Possesses working knowledge of company policies, procedures and computer systems.
?? Ability to type 40 words per minute.
?? Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) at a basic level required.
