The Resource Education Coordinator works in conjunction with the Director Business Management to provide a focused offering of resources to independent contractor advisors in the Complex. The Resource Education Coordinator is available for supporting and navigating W&R systems, including W&R University, DocuPace, Envestnet, eMoney, Advisor Portal, and its many integrated resource points. The role will assist employees in the Complex to coordinate the offering of educational resources and training opportunities for advisors of all experience levels; including the offering of internal resources and training opportunities with the Complex leadership and other strategic partners. This role is also responsible for providing management with periodic reports of the resources advisors are accepting and using in the Complex.


* Partner with internal stakeholders (RVP, Complex Manager and Branch Manager/Practice Development/WRU) and liaise with subject matter experts regarding instructional design. Ensure advisors are offered resources and have access to and relevant information about available systems. Assist with end-to-end system onboarding for independent contractor advisor businesses

* Serve as a marketing resource to advisors with respect to tasks such as ordering business cards, completing all entry forms, accessing website, etc.

* Offer resources to ensure advisor feels properly equipped to maximize the client sales experience (SmartOffice program, C-Pro or other similar Client Service System). Help advisors get access, where requested

* Master the navigation and effective utilization of Docupace, Envestnet, eMoney, Pershing and like platform software, and serve as an available resource to advisors for the same. Master the navigation of all technology (i.e., Advisor Portal, WRU, and its content). Serve as an available resource with understanding sites and how to best use them

* Offer resources to advisors with respect to locating material within Advisor Portal and navigating Advisor Desktop platforms

* Serve as technology concierge for clients

* Assist Complex Manager and other members of Complex leadership in coordinating the offering of optional training segments for advisors

* Coordinate event planning needs (facility, equipment, handouts) for training segment offerings

* Provide management with periodic reports of the resources that advisor community/teams are taking advantage of

* Other duties as assigned


* Proven working experience in coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

* Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate)

* Microsoft Office proficiency

* Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

* Strong communication skills

* Team-oriented with excellent customer service skills

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a discipline of training, resource offerings, customer/field service or concierge role

* Regular and predictable attendance

* Ability to travel as needed within a Complex

* Proficient in multiple software programs and systems


* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education, or related field

* Familiarity with traditional and modern training resources and techniquesSDL2017
