Job Description

Eli's Restaurant Group is now hiring for Restaurant Management positions in all of our Restaurants. We currently own and operate multiple restaurants in the New Haven area and we are rapidly expanding by adding new restaurant locations in the Connecticut area. To do so we need qualified Bar, Assistant, Assistant General Manager and General Managers to join our Restaurant Team whose leadership, dependability and attention to detail sets the standard for all others to follow. We believe that Managers are the backbone of a successful restaurant operation and invest in the right individuals to join our team.

Ultimately managers set the tone and are responsible for providing an open, productive and fun working environment that will be centered on providing our guests with highest quality food, beverage and service experience. A manager candidate must have passion for food and beverage and a sincere desire to take care of our restaurant guests. Eli's offers Managers Involvement in staffing, scheduling, purchasing and operational decisions and candidates must have a grasp of labor and cost of goods controls and be able to perform objective staff evaluations and effectively train new hires to reach the ultimate goal of an operating a successful restaurant following the Eli's model.

Job Requirements

Candidates that best fit our needs will:

First and foremost have the desire and ability to take care of our guests, everything else is secondary

Have the ability to develop positive relationships with both staff members and guests
Be able to adapt and excel in a fast paced, high energy environment
Communicate clearly and effectively with restaurant guests and staff
Properly develop and train staff members through supervised training and performance evaluations
Have proficiency with basic computer software and POS application
Be able to coach and or counsel staff members as needed
