The IT Infrastructure Manager is a seasoned technical professional who is capable of optimizing and tailoring specific IT infrastructure to best meet the needs of Masonicare. Within the engineering discipline, the individual with advanced tools will lead, supervise, mentor and monitor all infrastructure systems within the Information Technology department. He/she will ensure that the network, the data centers and telecommunication systems are running according to standard and he/she and his/her team will be able to troubleshoot all related issues, while measuring impact to the business. The incumbent will develop the IT Infrastructure while collaborating with the Information Security team to allow for the best customer performance while keeping data secure. This individual must demonstrate extensive technical knowledge of data systems, network architecture and a familiarity with circuits and telecomm. Knowledge of network management protocols, networking architecture, authentication practices and good communication skills along with the ability to work well in a team setting are required. The incumbent keeps abreast of industry network trends and developments, as well as applicable government regulations making recommendations and/or implementing appropriate measures. The incumbent is detailed-oriented and has an in-depth knowledge of networking hardware and software. This includes but not limited to network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing, security, and network protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science or a related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and technical training and security related certifications.


* 10+ years of experience in an Infrastructure Manager or Architect Role

* 7+ years of experience of experience with networking and infrastructure technologies (routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.).

* 7+ years of experience with Microsoft operating systems

* 7+ years of experience with Cisco systems

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Microsoft-related, CCNA, Citrix, or VMware experience or certifications.

Key Competencies:

Ability to work independently under general direction and to work as part of a project team. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of technology, particularly related to imaging software and hardware.
