Position

Purpose:

Responsible for technology investigations on next generation active passive integrated antenna systems.

Responsibilities:

* Perform next generation active-passive integrated antenna

system studies.

* Identify RFS active/passive integrated antenna system architecture

* Identify/define RFS active/passive integrated antenna system

building blocks

* Develop detailed specification for the building blocks.

* Propose design partners with required skill sets that RFS

does not currently have.

* Work with related R&D groups within RFS and partners.

* Follow the ISO and PLC processes during product development.

* Document his activities according to company standards

Technical Requirements:

* Min Bachelor degree, preferable Master in RF active integrated circuit design or related field

* Over 5-7 years' experience in RF system design in the frequency range 1GHz - 30GHz.

* Understand wireless communication system architecture and basic building blocks, such as RF front-end transceiver, digital up/down converters, RRH, RET and base band unit

* Understand basic digital signal processing and software control principle

* Has knowledge on system communication protocols, such as CPRI, OBSAI, ORI, AISG

* Has basic knowledge on MIMO, beamforming and beam steering.

* Understand RF circuit and antenna design theory and the related test equipment and manufacturing methods

* Have basic knowledge of project management

* Analytical, responsible, dependable and open-minded

* Good communication skill and able to work in a multicultural project team

* Self-motivated, hard-working and willing to work overtime to meet tasks deadline
