Publication date: 28.08.2017 REFERENCE: Company Company: AVANGRID Management Company (AMC) Department: Corporate Communications Job Title: Director - Digital Strategy Reports to: Vice President - Corporate Communications Location: Orange, CT (AMC-CT-Orange) Cross Company Responsibility: Yes Business and Department AMC-CT-Orange Orange,CT Description JOB SUMMARY: Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships: AVANGRID is seeking a senior digital strategist to lead the organization's aggressive digital program. The Digital Director will be an important part of the organization's Corporate Communications team, working not only to deliver best-in-class digital strategy and manage the overall digital program, but also to shape the organization's aggressive digital strategy. This role will focus on both internal and external digital engagement, internal email marketing, and customer- based list building in addition to overseeing general digital work (media buying, content creation, etc.). MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities): 1. Define and lead implementation of digital strategy for the entire AVANGRID organization across all operating companies, for national, regional, and local campaigns for a variety of digital projects to achieve measurable goals. 2. Build digital campaigns for AVANGRID, Inc., which will drive internal and external messaging and digital engagement. 3. Manage and lead a team of digital and creative specialists who will execute campaigns. 4. Coordinate digital efforts with internal and external AVANGRID stakeholders including, communications, policy staff & IT, which may include effective rapid response. 5. Manage digital content vendors and design/development shops when outsourced. 6. Responsible for creative and brand standards across all AVANGRID ' s digital channels, including legal compliance across all service territories.

Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education, Experience & Certifications Required:

* Bachelor ' s Degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience preferred.

* Previous website and/or e-commerce project management experience preferred. Skills/Abilities:

* Digital content development with hands-on experience in SEO, SEM, social, mobile, display, web, email and database marketing efforts as well as technology platforms for content distribution, email marketing & deliverability, and social media management.

* Expert level experience in digital engagement and consumer-based list-building.

* Excellent organizational and project management skills, and an ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines

* Strong campaign and technical acumen, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences.

* Demonstrated ability to manage content development pipelines

* Strong writing and editing skills with sound news and graphics judgment.

* Superior organizational, communication, strategic thinking and business skills.

* Passion for delivering consistently high-quality work on schedule.

* Experience partnering with global cross-functional teams (brand, design, technical, policy staff).

* Commitment to identifying and communicating innovative ideas to improve processes and performance.

* Ability to understand and stay current with the latest processes, procedures, and publishing tools and other technical concepts.
