Job Description Are you an experienced Quality Practice Advisor/HEDIS Practice Advisor looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Daily Responsibilities of a Quality Practice Advisor/HEDIS Practice Advisor:
  • Taking Care Gap Reports (generated from claims data) to do a deep dive into the care gaps and to work with providers on correcting the issues.
  • Advises and educates Provider practices in appropriate HEDIS measures, medical record documentation guidelines and HEDIS ICD-9 / CPT coding in accordance with NCQA requirements.
  • Collects, summarizes and trends provider performance data to identify and strategize opportunities for provider improvement.
  • Collaborates with Provider Relations to improve provider performance in areas of Quality, Risk Adjustment, Operations (claims and encounters).
  • Communicates with external data sources as needed to gather data necessary to measure identified outcomes.

Requirements of a Quality Practice Advisor/HEDIS Practice Advisor:
  • Any of the flowing licensures AND 3 years of HEDIS/ Quality Improvement experience:
  • RN or LPN
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Health Care Quality and Management (HCQM)
  • Certified Healthcare Professional (CHP)
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

Hours for this Position:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Advantages of this Opportunity:

Competitive salary, $40-44 per hour depending on licensure

Contract Length: At least 8 months- Could extend/ go perm
