The Digital Product Analyst position serves as a liaison with internal and external customers to gather, document and analyze detailed digital product requirements needed by Technology teams to deliver the roadmap of Subway Digital Products, which include Subway's Responsive Website, Mobile App, Kiosk, and Digital Menu Boards. Digital Product Analysts are responsible for identifying gaps in requirements and following up with stakeholders to resolve gaps, communicating requirements clearly using a variety of formats (e.g., user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications). The Digital Product Analyst role may be partnered with a specific Product Manager or may flex to meet overall product portfolio needs. Digital Product Analysts also help to organize, conduct, participate in and report on User Acceptance Testing on behalf of Product Manager(s), and to assist with defect triaging and logging during software development testing cycles.


* Support one or more Digital Product Managers by helping to gather and manage requirements, user stories, and visual designs that accurately describe and depict new functionality needs for Subway Digital Products

* Liaise with technology, services and platform teams across the broader Subway ecosystem (e.g., Remote Order, Point of Sale, Payments, Marketing Analytics, Legal, Operations, Customer Care, Partner Enablement, Loyalty, Technology, etc.) to ensure alignment of digital commerce product roadmaps with the roadmaps of systems upon which the digital commerce product portfolio depends; this includes liaising extensively with Remote Order platform stakeholders

* Assist one or more Digital Product Managers with grooming backlogs of desired functionality for digital products, supporting the development of business case for new features and enhancements

* Engage with customers, franchisees, and the Subway Digital Marketing Strategy, Marketing Analytics and Loyalty Management teams to enrich understanding of guest behavior, ensuring that functional requirements documentation is informed by data and supported by business case analysis

* Organize, conduct, participate in and report on User Acceptance Testing to confirm that requirements have been met by development teams

* Ability to understand and describe complicated topics in simple, relatable, clear language

* A passion for working on the bleeding edge of marketing technology and staying current with marketing-specific technology trends

* Exceptional project management skills in a technical domain along with an ability to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and manage changing priorities

* A commitment to defining product requirements with clarity and quality across an evolving landscape of digital products

* Experience in retail and/or QSR store systems and technologies

* Experience in software product development with proficiency in Agile best practices and tools such as JIRA

* A clear track record of successfully managing digital products and executing against a roadmap

* Experience with the development of and integration with multiple back-end systems as well as front-end customer-facing solutions

* Experience with MS Office Suite (PPT, Excel Word are Key)
