Corporate Compliance Reports to: Director - Ethics Compliance Office Location: Orange, CT (ASC-CT-Orange) Cross Company Responsibility: Yes Business and Department ASC-CT-Orange Orange,CT Description Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships: This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day initiatives of the Avangrid Networks corporate compliance and ethics program. This role will involve development and administration of various compliance program initiatives, including trainings, internal investigations, helpline management, policies and procedures, communications, and promotion of a corporate culture of ethics and compliance. This position will have the opportunity to work across the organization, interacting with employees at all levels. This position reports to the Avangrid Networks Chief Compliance Officer. There are no direct reports to this position. MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities): 1. Administration of day-to-day operations of Corporate Compliance and Ethics program for Avangrid Networks and development of new initiatives and best practices (e.g., ethics trainings, corporate compliance helpline, legal and regulatory compliance risk assessments, background checks, etc.) 2. Develop and deliver online and in-person trainings to employees on corporate ethics and key areas of regulatory compliance. 3. Ongoing risk assessments in key areas of compliance (e.g., conflicts of interest, anti-corruption, fraud, etc), utilizing electronic methods and in person meetings with management and senior leadership. 4. Provide ethics and compliance guidance to employees at all levels of the organization, utilizing the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, regulatory guidance, and accepted industry and corporate practices. 5. Coordination of internal investigations and compliance matters, utilizing key areas of expertise such as Human Resources, Internal Audit, Legal, etc.

6. Development of compliance and ethics related policies and procedures (e.g., gifts, outside activities, retaliation, etc.). 7. Development and administration of communications and ethics culture efforts to ensure that senior leadership and employees understand their regulatory and ethics obligations. 8. Maintaining knowledge and awareness of industry best practices to identify trends and ensure that the compliance program meets and exceeds business requirements and standards under the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines. 9. Ongoing reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and other members of senior leadership to review program activities and recommend areas for improvement. 10. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience Required:

* Bachelor ' s degree with 7 years relevant experience required. Master ' s Degree in Business Administration, JD, or compliance-related post-graduate degrees preferred.

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal, auditing, risk management, or other compliance-related field.

* Professional certification in compliance-related field, or willingness to obtain and maintain such certification, preferred.

* Experience in risk management, internal investigation, and training.

* Experience in utility or energy-related industry preferred. Skills/Abilities:

* Detailed knowledge of U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines for Corporations.

* Strong understanding of compliance, ethics, and governance best practices preferred.

* Strong communication skills required, with emphasis on quality of written communications.

* Ability to work and achieve results independently.

* Ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and privileged information.

* Excellent decision making and analytical ability.

* Strong interpersonal, teamwork, project management, and leadership skills required, demonstrating ability to resolve conflict, foster partnerships and develop trust across all levels of an organization.
