Position Responsibilities:

The Director of Financial Analysis is responsible for providing quantitative analysis enabling the enterprise to achieve strategic financial goals in a manner consistent with the companys mode of operation. Were looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude. Someone with a commitment towards customer service and a high level of integrity. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. A team player who collaborates well with peers, subordinates and superiors and possesses confidence when interacting with executives and owners.

The Director of Financial Analysis will directly report to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with Senior Management and peers to provide insight into the companys operations to insure the efficient operation of our clubs. He or she will be responsible for driving a number of critical initiatives simultaneously. This is a one-person team who will work closely with operations and finance to streamline identify the path to success for the Company.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the companys business intelligence system to make recommendations related to decisions affecting the companys revenues, expenses, utilization of capital and other resources.
  • Create reports for end users that succinctly summarize results compared to goals and objectives.
  • Analyze investment decisions (primarily real estate site selection decisions) using industry or economic data to forecast the likely outcome of the companys capital investments.
  • Present oral or written reports on the companys economic trends, related to revenues, profit and investment performance to the companys board, c-level management, operations management and bankers.
Skills
  • 3 or more years Financial Analysis experience, at least 2 of which are in a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence systems incorporating data from Point-of-Sale, Payroll, Human Resources, Marketing, Finance and other appropriate software systems.
  • Superior abilities utilizing Microsoft suite of Office products, as well as data base applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to make recommendations based upon probabilities and imprecise data considering probabilities and risks.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or database management and three or more years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Experience at top tier consulting firm, investment bank or Big 4 Accounting firm a definite plus
