The Employee Communications Manager will collaborate with internal partners across functions and geographies to help Subway team members worldwide stay informed about the company's vision, goals, people and initiatives. This individual will lead the strategic development, management and execution of employee communications and engagement programs that inform, inspire and motivate employees and help them understand the impact of their work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Write and/or produce all employee communications: videos, newsletters, handbooks, articles, etc. to inspire, educate, and inform employees, using a consistent "voice," in a way that motivates employees around the world to "Create Great".

* Establish a cadence for communications and protocol around employee communications to ensure corporate wide programs are effectively and efficiently communicated to all levels of the organization.

* Partner with global communications and human resources teams to ensure content is relevant, timely and effectively presented, making every employee feel engaged, valued, and informed.

* Support the Community Relations Manager to ensure that good corporate news is shared internally with employees to help instill pride.

* Provide engaging content for relevant meetings, workshop descriptions, printed programs, and marketing materials.

* Coordinate with Meetings & Events to plan and executive employee events and celebrations around key milestones, business initiatives and accomplishments.

* Stay abreast of external trends and activities related to employee engagement.

The successful candidate will have:

* Bachelors Degree in Communications or Marketing required.

* 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

* Experience necessary for effective job performance:

* Exceptional communications skills.

* Attention to details and deadlines a must.

* Willing to travel 10% of the time.
