Global M&A Marketing Associate

We're OperationsInc, a Human Resources Outsourcing and Consulting firm. A client of ours, an innovative mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on lower-middle market companies is seeking a Global M&A Marketing Associate. Located in the New Haven, CT area, our client provides buy-side and sell-side advisory services to companies across a broad range of industries, managing deals with a transaction value of $5 million-$250 million.

This is an entry level position for either a recent graduate or a candidate with up to three years of work experience who wants to enter the exciting world of Mergers & Acquisitions by joining a growing team at a boutique investment banking firm. You will work with Entrepreneurs, CEOs and Presidents. You must be motivated, process-driven, enjoy a fast-pace, and love teamwork but can work independently as well. We have been retained to assist them in their efforts to secure the most qualified candidate.


?? Coordinate with the investment team to prepare client for campaign market launch

?? Travel to client sites to meet and tour facility

?? Develop relationships with clients

?? Construct buyer list criteria with global research teams in The Netherlands & South Africa

?? Engage in conversations with potential buyers - CEOs, Presidents, Managing Directors

?? Drive deal momentum by continually updating buyers with new client information

?? Communicate regularly via email and phone

?? Provide client with weekly updates on campaign status

?? Obtain questions from potential buyers

?? Compile a comprehensive Q&A document with questions from all buyers

?? Solicit Indication of Interest (first round bids) from all buyers

?? Transition Letters of Intent to Closing team

?? Work with the Underwriting and Closing team throughout the deal process

?? Be our client's biggest advocate to buyers

?? Proactively marketing clients domestically and internationally

?? Ensure buyers follow our process timeline and submit questions

?? Attend client marketing meetings and kick-off meetings

?? Participate in multiple campaigns simultaneously

?? Learn about businesses in a variety of business sectors

?? Attend events periodically in NYC which is only a commuter train away


?? Recent graduate or 1-3 Years of Business Experience

?? A Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Business or Marketing

?? Goal oriented: Find the most buyers, get most offers, highest price for our client

?? Hard working, aggressive, motivated, team player

?? Ability to be at ease with clients and C-Level contacts globally

Knowledge of:

?? Software: Salesforce, Pardot, MS Office

?? Research Tools: CapitalIQ, Hoovers, Pitchbook, IbisWorld, LinkedIn
