Position SummaryPosition Summary and Special Duties

With direct supervision, evaluates component failures on all IMS vehicles, performs tests, repairs and preventative maintenance on all electronics required to maintain proper vehicle performance for production. Identify & Assist in component inventory working to maintain stock of critical components for production vehicles

* Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude associated with repair and maintenance of machinery.

* Basic knowledge of hand tools to assist in daily tasks associated repair and maintenance of machinery.

* Skillful in blueprint reading, troubleshooting, and safety.

* Displays excellence in all housekeeping, LEAN & 5S opportunities

* Interacts with other colleagues as necessary

* Consistently meets Safety, Quality & Operations standards including required documentation

* Operates equipment including startup & shut down as necessary for vehicle maintenance area.

* Completes all work assignments in a safe & efficient manner following all Safety & GMP policies

* Required to work overtime/alternate schedules as business needs dictate.

* Performs all other duties as assigned

Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum Qualifications:

* Technical High School Certification in related Engineering field or 2 year equivalent Industrial and/or military electronics background

* Basic skills in engineering computer software and test equipment.

* Good communication, interpersonal skills and report writing ability.

* Minimum 1 year of experience required in an industrial environment.
