*Location:*This position will allow you to work from home, anywhere in the United States. There will be occasional overnight travel.

The*Proposal Director*works across multiple, large-scale Medicaid proposals, supporting continuity, completeness, and packaging of technical responses. Manages cross-functional resources with a focus on clinical-related responses to complete proposals. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

* Participate in meetings (proposal kick-off, writer, strategy sessions)

* Review RFP and contract requirements, including amendments

* Collaborate with Business Development Team and Corporate Subject Matter Experts to brainstorm strategy and approach to RFP questions/requirements

* Stay current on developments in Medicaid managed care

* Prepare well-written, comprehensive responses that:

o Comply with the RFP, proposed contract, and any attachments

o Include graphics (as indicated)

o Adhere to the style guide and template

o Reflects Growth Director, Book Boss, and SME input

o Maintain organized files and drafts of work in appropriate locations

o Review competitor responses

o Catalog past proposal sections for the Content Library


* BA/BS degree in a related field; 10 years of proposal-related experience; in-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Process (FAP); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

* APMP Foundation certification or equivalent professional certifications.
