Direction, coordination, provision and evaluation of patient care. Includes strong customer service and communication, support of safety initiatives, handling varied organization responsibilities as well as direct patient care. Graduate of accredited school of nursing required. Clinical and technical knowledge and skills consistent with licensure required. Current CT RN license required.
Unit specific certification requirements are as follows:
CCU/CVU/Tele/OR/SDS/NVSC - BLS and ACLS required.
NICU - BLS and NRP required.
Labor and Delivery - BLS, ACLS, NRP and EFM required.
Emergency Department - BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI and TNCC required.
If not currently certified, must obtain certification within six months of hire date.
