HR Manager - Payroll and Benefits
A well established manufacturing company in Stratford is looking for an HR Manager who will be responsible for the payroll and benefits.
Manage all aspects of UltiPro HCM system and Kronos Time and Attendance, including configuring and running salaried and hourly payroll and Core HR, interfaces and management reporting. Stay current on best practices in HR and HR Technology and drive continuous improvement. Manage policies, procedures and programs covering employee relations, labor relations, benefits and employee development in support of strategic business objectives. Investigate and resolve employee relations and labor relations issues, working with managers and union representatives. Manage the seniority provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreements in regards to bidding and layoffs. Handles union retirement inquiries and provides data to actuary.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in HR, Payroll and HRIS/HCM Systems.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, including an in depth knowledge of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment standards and employment laws and practice, including FMLA.
- Strong PC, MS Excel and database skills.
Expert, power user level experience with a HCM system, preferably Ultimate Software/UltiPro, including configuration and Business Intelligence.
