##### **Position Summary** Position Summary and Special Duties:

?Perform a variety of operations connected with plant electrical equipment\.

?Responsible for the assembly, maintenance, repair, adjustment and installation of electrical and mechanical components of assembly machines or equipment\.

?Replace worn or broken component parts and make adjustments as necessary to insure proper operation and product quality\.

?Interface with engineering colleagues and review electrical design and installation work as necessary\.

##### **Required Skills and Experience** Minimum Qualifications:

?High School Diploma or GED

?Must possess valid CT E\-2 journeyperson license and have full knowledge of the National Electrical Code

?Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical trade required

?Three years of experience in an industrial environment including plant electrical support and project work

?Knowledge of safe electrical work practices

?Demonstrated knowledge of PLC skills

?Demonstrated knowledge of industrial controls and applications

?Demonstrated troubleshooting and blueprint reading skills

?Diagnose machine and plant equipment problems to determine extent of repair

?Respond to service calls from Central Dispatch and/or Supervisors and Team Leaders
