Position: Account Manager

Reports to: RegionalManager

The position of the Account Manager will beresponsible for aggressively selling MacDermid Enthone's chemicalproducts. The successful candidate willhelp shape the regional strategy for rapid growth and swift identification ofprospective customers in line with that strategy. The position requires aproactive self-starter that is able to work closely and independently withcustomers and sales management to ensure that customer expectations and companyinterests are served while helping to promote MacDermid Enthone's exclusiveline of products.


* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or 5-7 yearsjob related experience required.


* Develop a business plan and sales strategyfor the regional market that ensures attainment of company sales and profitgoals.

* Prepares action plans for effectiveidentification of sales leads and prospects.

* Initiates and coordinates development ofaction plans to penetrate new customers and markets.

* Provides timely feedback to seniormanagement regarding performance.

* Creates and conducts proposalpresentations and RFQ responses

* Play an integral part in developing growthstrategy for business unit

* Work with internal support team toproactively identify and resolve customer issues

* Have a basic understanding for the overallPCB business, and specifics in wet processing areas.

* Have the ability to calm a situation withcustomers, initiate a step by step plan, and involve other technical helpquickly to find resolution.

* Experience with enterprise software solutions

* Large account skill set, ability to navigate and assist others in navigating large accounts

* Strong track record of gaining sales at large, complex organizations.

* Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.

* Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

* Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.


* Accountable for the completion of assignedtasks in a timely manner. Long hours may be required.

* Able to file customer trip reports, travelexpenses and monthly summary reports in a timely manner.
