General Overview: The Manager,Compliance, will help develop, test, deploy, maintain, and lead compliancesystems and solutions for MacDermid Performance Solutions. This position reports to Legal or Productregulatory (TBD)

Based in: Waterbury, CT

Job Functions:

* Manage multiple compliance projectsincluding the implementations of new systems for both internal and externalbusiness partners (e.g., conflict minerals, social compliance, OFAC, EICCstandards, sustainability, child/slave labor and other new or existingcompliance initiatives).

* Actively scan the external Complianceand Regulatory Environments as relates to the Chemicals industry and keepabreast of developments so that major changes can be foreseen and appropriateresponses generated timely.

* Take responsibility for implementationand integration of any/all third party management systems (including systemsfor Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) for the MacDermid Performance Solutionsgroup. This includes assisting with theonboarding of business units and regions, overseeing the uploading of data, developingtraining tools, training staff, creating policies and procedures andmaintaining the Hiperos system.

* Optimize organizationalefficiency/effectiveness by leveraging the capabilities and improving the userexperience of compliance related technologies, and driving the automation ofexisting manual processes, as related to Compliance.

* Strategically align the developmentof business standards, data governance and data stewardship on the use ofenterprise wide systems and master data management.

* Prepare reports to management usingthe organization's compliance and data management systems.

* Respond to internal and externalcustomer requests regarding compliance and due diligence matters.

* Perform other incidental dutiesassigned by leadership.

Required Education/Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 6 yearsof related work experience required

* Knowledge and experience in the chemicalor electronic manufacturing industry, applicable standards and guidance, wouldbe a plus, although not a pre-requisite

* Proven successful project managementskills

* Hands on experience and skills usingthird party compliance management systems as related to Compliance andGovernance.

* Compliance, internal audit or riskexperience (or equivalent) would be a plus

* Proven expertise on MS Office Suite(e.g., Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access). Working knowledgein other tools and applications (e.g., Oracle, JDE, Concur, Salesforce.comadministration, QlikView development, and/or SQL) would be a plus.

* Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills and interpersonal relationship skills includingnegotiating and relationship management skills with ability to driveachievement of objectives

* Aptitude to fully grasp and learn thedata flow between compliance related systems

* Strict attention to detail with accountabilityfor accuracy of data and analyses

* Ability to think holistically andstrategically

* Demonstrated ability to utilizeorganizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade othersof the course of action

* Ability to establish foundation ofcredibility based on integrity and a track record of achievement

* Advanced problem-solving,organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including highdiscretion/judgment in decision making
