Subway is currently looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead development activities in our Headquarter office in Milford, CT. Candidate must have a deep technical understanding of Agile Software Development practices and experience delivering deployable software in short sprints. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities assigned to the Scrum team are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality of performance. The candidate will interface with client personnel and use oral and written communications skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders.) Serve as Technology Lead for Subway Digital Overall.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Maintain process documentation.

* Understanding of backlog grooming, burn-down metrics, team velocity. Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs

* Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Communicate with other management, developers, product owners and technical support specialists on product issues

* Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices. Identify and remove impediments, prevents distractions and other obstacles to success. Empower the team to self-organize

* Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility

* Coach and mentor teams to identify efficiencies to improve our ability to release quality products early and often

* Coordinate system and project dependencies for releases

Experience necessary for effective job performance:

* Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or relational functional field) / equivalent experience

* 3+ years in IT in technical or project management position

* 2+ years of experience in Agile software development environment

* Scrum Master Certification Preferred (or willing to get certified)

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, Visio)

* Experience with developing and deploying software (Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, JIRA Studio, test automation techniques and tools)

* Strong reporting skills

* Understanding of End-to-end design/development/delivery of software applications with highest quality/reliability through thorough unit/integration/system tests

* Experience in system conversion and/or integration SDL2017
