The University of New Haven is seeking candidates for the position of Associate Director of Athletics for NCAA Compliance and Student Welfare who will direct and enforce the athletics department's compliance with NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations and oversee the planning and implementation of strategies conducive to the academic, athletic and personal development of student-athletes. Duties will include working in collaboration with various university offices including registrar, financial aid, student affairs, and academic services. Further responsibilities include monitoring academic performance, serving as a liaison to coaches, faculty and staff, and SAAC advisor. Qualifications: bachelor's degree required, master's preferred; previous NCAA compliance experience required; proficient knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; working knowledge of NCAA CA, RSRO, LSDBi, Eligibility Center and Banner; excellent computer, organizational, written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network across a multifaceted university community.
