With a wide portfolio of wound care products targeting chronic andacute wounds, you can be successful as an Account Manager with the AdvancedWound Management division. Smith & Nephew's Advanced Wound Management divisionprovides high quality products, medical education and services supportinginitial wound bed preparation through to full wound closure, enabling betteroutcomes for patients and healthcare systems.

The Account Manager isresponsible for the sale of Smith & Nephew Biologic wound care productswithin an assigned territory in the Biologics segment. The primary call pointsare in the acute care facilities as well as physician offices promoting keybrands such as Santyl and other products within Advanced Wound Management.


Generateterritory plan of action in conjunction with District Manager

Attainterritory sales goals utilizing excellent sales skills, territory managementskills and customers relationships

Coordinateavailability of products for hospital outpatient departments through customerchampions and provided sales collaterals

In-serviceappropriate personnel in hospitals, outpatient departments, nursing homes andclosed door pharmacies to educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith& Nephew products

Deliversales presentations to key customers and customers groups and conduct productlunches and dinners for identified customer groups

Generateuse of products by utilizing customer champions and educating customers withprovided sales collaterals

Achieveannual sales goals as established by the Company and District Manager

Utilizeproper sales skills including probing, supporting and closing

Penetratetarget accounts and devote adequate sales time to each product

Maintainmutually beneficial relationships with key customers, decision-makers andthought leaders. Demonstrate exceptionalpresentation skills, good administrative and organization skills.


Minimumof 3 years of Business to Business (B2B), direct selling or medical salesexperience

Exceptionaloral and written communication

Demonstratedability to effectively present key concepts and recommendations to customers informal and informal settings

Strong analyticalskills to include pipeline management, territory analysis and territorymanagement. Demonstratedsuccess with complex sales process

Experienceselling in an environment with multiple call points and decision makers withinan account

Professionaltraining program experience (for example, Integrity Selling)
