Quality Control Inspector
Essential Job Functions
- Perform inspection duties with a strong attention to detail, per customer specifications using variable measuring devices and attribute gaging to ensure quality of parts meets customer requirements.
First article inspections.
Creating inspections documentation (first piece, first article, etc.) per engineering drawings.
Preparing product for shipment.
Back up for other quality control inspectors.
Additional project duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of measurement equipment such as micrometers, comparators, microscopes.
The ability to read and interpret machining blueprints & specifications for inspection of small screw machine product.
Must be able to complete FAI.
Working knowledge and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and requirements.
Good computer skills & experience with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint.
Inventory Management System, AS9100 knowledge and CMM/Key piece experience are a plus.
High level of attention to detail and organization.
Flexibility to work overtime depending on department needs.
