Job Description

The Role

As a Support Engineer at Square 9, you will provide Level 2 and 3 support for customers and re-sellers deploying next generation document and content management solutions. Development is agile, and creativity and attention to detail are critical. We have an energetic and inspired team and have an immediate need to add like-minded people to our group.

The core server platform is Microsoft .Net based and primarily written in C# using RESTful and SOAP based web services. Front end software includes traditional .Net client/server technology as well as ASP.Net, Javascript, and HTML5. We are always of on front side of new technologies and actively seek to deploy them in our solutions.

  • Proven consultative solution development skills with ability to incorporate; software, professional services and hardware requirements
  • Ability to build and expand relationships with customer contacts
  • Adept in public speaking, presentations and seminars
  • Technically literate, with an aptitude to understand, present and position our solutions to both customers and resellers
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Support of an ever expanding customer base on deployment and usage related issues for our products
  • Liaising with development and quality assurance on open issues and resolutions
  • Authoring KB articles on common service issues

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer facing, technical support or training role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicating in clear, grammatically correct conversational English is a required skill
  • Expert database (SQL) skills, specifically SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Windows platform infrastructure (ASP.Net, IIS, Message Queuing, Authentication)
