Senior Financial Analyst

A global New Haven manufacturing company has a newly created position for a Senior Financial Analyst. This Senior Financial Analyst role will work closely with the Assistant Controller assisting with forecasting, analysis, month-end close, annual budgets and ad hoc reporting.

Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Support the accounting team by meeting reporting deadlines.
  • Consolidate plant information including key indicators, monthly financial results, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for the Accounting Team.
  • Preparation of leadership presentations.
  • Review actual and forecasted details, cost of sales and annual standard cost change process.
  • Review analytics of inventory balances and manufacturing variance capitalization.
  • Manage the loading of financial data into various systems.
  • Analyze and reconcile key balance sheet accounts and book journal entries as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting/Finance
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Sarbanes Oxley testing experience
Compensation: $65-75K plus bonus potential
