The*Account Service Manager*is responsible for the following, but not limited to:

*_Key Roles and Responsibilities_*:
* Provides strategic planning and account management for large accounts.
* Directs and manages the administration of contractual requirements and obligations.
* Interfaces with operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.
* Maintains ongoing account relationships at multiple levels throughout the customers' organizations.
* Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customers' expectations.
* Provides both on-site and off-site customer service, which may include interpreting plan design, researching and resolving phone and written inquiries, resolving claims, benefit and enrollment issues.
* Makes routine account visits.
* Become an expert on plan contacts for the region. Collaborate and build relationships across business units, advocate for the needs of the region
* Contribute to regional performance goals
o Lead efforts to bring standardization across accounts
o Support the training and development of Account Service Coordinators
* Develop and implement communications to pharmacies, prescribers and members as necessary to improve member and provider experience and reduce cost
_*Additional Roles and Responsibilities*_:
* Support the development of new web content to improve the member and provider experience
* Become an expert on contractual requirements, beneficiary rights and standard benefits in plans throughout the region
* Compile information and support pharmacy program updates to leadership, including but not limited to: annual planning meetings, quarterly business reviews, biweekly trend meetings
* Perform routine benefit surveillance to assure benefits are working correcting, low claim reject volumes throughout the region
* Solve claims issues and complaints with the support of Pharmacy Operations team or Medicaid Account Management team
* Assure successful implementation of programs
o Benefit mandates
o Program enhancements
o Cost of Care programs
o System changes
* Assure appropriate access for health plan staff to RX tools

* Requires BA/BS, 3-5 years* of experience managing business operations and/or customer relationship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
* Requires 2 years of managed care experience or PBM experience; Government business experience preferred.
* Proficiency in MS excel, Power Point, Outlook
* Travel required, up to 10%
