LAW FIRM ADMINISTRATOR

Berchem Moses PC, a medium-sized law firm, seeks a Law Firm Administrator with strong accounting skills.The position has overall responsibility for the day to day business operations of the firm.

Financial: Oversees the firm’s accounting and financial systems. Prepares and administers the annual budget. Prepares monthly and year-end financial reports. Responsible for all governmental filings in conjunction with the firm’s outside accountants, including federal and state tax returns, personal property tax returns, sales and use tax returns. Manages the firm’s bank accounts and banking relationships.

Personnel and Human Resources: Responsible for hiring and supervising all non-attorney personnel, managing the firm’s benefit programs, including health insurance, 401k/profit sharing plan and other benefits, and administering the firms personnel policies. Assist with the hiring of attorneys.

Administrative:Oversee the firm’s facilities, marketing and IT Departments and all computer systems. Responsible for the firm’s insurance programs, including, but not limited to professional liability insurance, personal property insurance and other business related insurance. Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.

Requirements: Prior experience as a law firm administrator with accounting degree and knowledge of Rainmaker time and billing system preferred.
