We are currently hiring an experienced and ambitious Executive Chef. This well respected, highly visible luxury hotel seeks a passionate executive chef, who must demonstrate an ability to work with poise and candor in a professional environment, who is a visionary with passion. A culinary degree is preferred but not required. Relocation candidates will be given consideration. Those qualified candidates who possess knowledge and passion in pastry, breads and confectionery work is considered a plus.

Restaurant Executive Chef Qualifications

  • 5-8 years in a similar role with an upscale hotel property
  • Experience within a union environment preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume atmosphere
  • Capacity to manage up to $10 million in annual revenue
  • Ability to coach, manage and direct your team Maintaining consistency and deliciousness of all menu items
  • Development of new items and recipes
  • Ensuring labor and food costs goal are met
  • Directing all teams in preparation for daily service and executing timely and accurate service of all food items.
  • Monitoring kitchen safety and cleanliness.
  • Supervising weekly inventory count
  • Ensuring staff is upholding leadership behaviors, core values and adhering to strategic and operational priorities.
  • Sharing inspiration and ideas with staff.
  • Maintaining open and clear communication with the staff and partners.

Restaurant Executive Chef Qualifications

  • 5-8 years in a similar role with an upscale hotel property

We provide a strong base salary plus bonus!
