Punch Press Set Up/Operator- Second Shift
The Engineered Products Group of Alinabal, Inc., located in Milford, Connecticut is a leading manufacturer of precision stampings, shim stock, and complex assemblies. We have an immediate opening for a Second Shift Punch Press Set Up/ Operator.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to set up and run a variety of punch presses up to 150 tons. As required, must be able to operate punch presses to perform a wide variety of operations such as blanking, drawing, piercing and other automatic press operations.
Proficient at starting coil feeds, setting airlines, servo and roll feeds, stock straighteners and all applicable safety devices for compound and progressive tooling.
Read and interpret complex blueprints.
Perform initial visual inspections and work with micrometers and various production gauges to measure close tolerances.
Adhere to ISO procedures.
Maintain a clean safe work area.
Label and move scrap and raw materials.
Record quantities produced, scrapped, and time worked.
Plan and maintain routine preventative maintenance.
Assist in training lesser skilled punch press operators.
