Job Description:

Great River Golf Club is now accepting applications and resumes for various part time seasonal positions.

All applicants must be willing to work flexible schedule of daytime hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

The primary focus is on exceeding expectations and providing the highest level of service in all phases of our golf operations.

Bag Drop - Welcoming member/guests to Great River, removing golf bags from cars and placing on carts, organizing carts for daily play, removing carts from bag storage and placing on carts. Ensuring that carts are clean and ready for daily play.

Cart Attendant - To service the needs of member/guests. To interact with players and provide outstanding customer service. To clean golf clubs and carts and maintain and organize cart barn area.

Range - To interact with our members/guests. To maintain the range as it relates to providing range balls, building pyramids of range balls, setting up the range for daily play, keeping the range area clean and organized, to drive the range picker and pick up golf balls.

Starter - Communicate with staff and superintendent regarding play and any issues on the course. To organize carts in the morning and throughout the shift to provide a smooth transition from arrival on property to play on the course, to provide a smooth and organized start of play on the course and monitor course play with rangers and manager on duty.

Ranger - To monitor pace of play and ensure that playing times are adhered to, to monitor course play and ensure that golfers are following club rules, to facilitate a smooth transition from hole to hole, to provide assistance wherever and whenever necessary on the course, to provide first aid assistance as needed.


* Staff must enjoy working with people and be willing to work in various areas of golf services.

* Driver's license is required.

* Staff will be cross trained in the areas of bag drop, carts and range.

* Must be attentive to the needs of our member/guests and ensure that the highest level of service is rendered.

* Must be able to follow posted scheduled hours and have good communication skills.

* Knowledge of golf and golf services is important.

Additional Information:

All Outside Golf Staff will report to Outside Services Manager or the acting Manager on Duty in his absence.
