The primary responsibility of the Accounting & Administration Manager is the management of daily accounting, cash management and reporting functions for our private lending operations.
The Accounting and Administration Manager will also work with a small team of individuals to perform a wide variety of tasks that cross functional lines of general office support, accounting, HR, sales support, and underwriting support.
The Accounting & Administration Manager will
?? Perform Loan Servicing accounting, including posting loan entries in our mortgage system for loan origination, payments, renovation draws and payoffs
?? Maintain property records for insurance, taxes, etc.
?? Perform Daily Cash Management functions, including wire transfers, bank reconciliations, etc.
?? Administer HR Paperwork
?? Prepare Monthly Financial Reports, including Loan Reports and Financial Statements
?? Prepare and Submit State Compliance filings
?? Work with outside accountants on annual taxes
?? Prepare and submit 1099 Annual filings
?? Accounting and Financial Reporting expertise
?? Demonstrate high energy and a disciplined sense of urgency
?? Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
?? Knowledge of Mortgage Loan Accounting a plus
?? Ability to continually mechanize processes with an eye toward improving efficiency and accuracy.
?? Knowledge of real estate, lending, business and rehabbing a plus
