Job Description

Immediate 12 month Contract. May lead to perm if desired.

The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for designing, building and testing accurate and effective reporting solutions that enable and optimize HR business process and meet changing demands. The individual will be responsible for understanding the SuccessFactors data model for core HCM, inclusive of org attributes such as position, pay structures and job families, as well as performance management, recruiting and compensation. The Sr. Analyst will define strategies to ensure HR data governance across HR systems and implement a data quality framework to improve data quality.

Principal Responsibilities

Ongoing Data Analytics/Reporting

Document, design, develop and maintain reports that accurately reflect internal customer requirements and support business operations, and make recommendations on additional reports to improve HR processes.

?? Partner with stakeholders to understand new report requirements; provide data definition and interpretation to ensure the results meet business needs.

?? Develop test scenarios and execute unit testing to ensure reports are operating according to specifications.

?? Provide data and analyses in response to ad hoc reporting requests.

?? Create and maintain library of standard calculated fields to be used across the reporting tool.

?? Maintain reporting inventory inclusive of report function, permissions and schedules and procedure for identifying changes required to existing reports as a result of enhancements/projects.

?? Automate and schedule key reports to help the business with data and insights.

?? Develop and maintain proper change control process for updates to existing reports.

?? Drive adoption of published reports and strive for user self-service; provide training and help troubleshoot as needed.

?? Partner with HR Operations and IT team to support ongoing SuccessFactors quarterly enhancement cycle; test and resolve issues identified with existing reports.

Data Governance/Quality

?? Lead HR Operations and IT in creating and managing standards for acquisition, maintenance, transfer, and disposition of HR data to ensure data quality, resolve issues, and ensure designed data structures meet business needs.

?? Define and implement standard processes and controls to maintain data integrity across global HR systems in partnership with HR Operations, functional leads and IT.

?? Define strategies to ensure HR data governance across global HR systems throughout the data lifecycle.

?? Develop and maintain a data dictionary, inclusive of data owners and stewards, support the maintenance and execution of data governance related components.

?? Adhere to established policies and procedures governing data privacy and security access to data.


?? Use common methodology and tools for project management, data governance, testing, and solutions production.

?? Support the implementation of a data analytics platform.

?? Utilize the SuccessFactors Integration Center tool to write integration files and reports as needed.


  • 6+ years of applicable reporting and analytics experience required
  • 3+ years of experience SuccessFactors reporting tools highly preferred
  • Familiarity of the core data structures in SuccessFactors
  • Strong understanding of HR data and processes
  • Knowledge and experience implementing best practices in the reporting space for both systems and processes
  • Proven planning and organization skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
