Job Description

Clinician

As a Clinician for the Family and Communities Ties Program, you will provide clinical therapy services, facilitate treatment planning, and lead crisis plan development. Other essential functions include, and are not limited to, the ability to assist in the development of post-licensure training, co-lead support groups, supervise Case Managers and provide specified training consolation service

QUALIFICATIONS: Looking for an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clinician completes initial assessments for children assigned to their caseload (behavioral, bio-psycho-social, educational, and other as indicated
  • Develops an Overall Plan of Service (OPS) and Coordinates the care of assigned clients
  • Provides clinical consultative, training, and programmatic home based services to the child and Foster Parent
  • Maintains a current and complete clinical record for each child and Foster Parent
  • Develops behavioral support plans or guidelines for each child on their caseload
  • Provides clinically appropriate and effective treatment utilizing multiple modalities including individual, group and family therapy
  • Actively participates in clinical and administrative supervision
  • Maintains open and collaborative communication with referral agencies, outpatient providers, schools, etc. on a consistent basis to ensure quality care
  • Maintains regular, direct contact with Professional Parent oversight, observation and evaluation of care given to the child
  • Provides child specific and other Foster Parent training as assigned
  • Provides Crisis Intervention support for assigned caseload
  • Participates in on-call rotation, providing emergency coverage to all Professional Parenting Program clients
  • Clinician responds to emergency calls in a timely manner
  • Complete appropriate documentation and follow up according to program requirements

Job Requirements

  • Masters Degree in social work, family therapy, psychology
  • Licensed as an LCSW, LMFT or LPC
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience including three years of supervisory experience
  • Clinician must have experience in providing therapy to children and families
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • 18 years or older
  • Computer skills
