Part Time Administrative Assistant
Wepawaug-Flagg FCU is searching for a part-time Administrative Assistant for our Hamden, CT headquarters. The position requires approximately 25 hours per week.
Essential Duties: Provides administrative support for a variety of departments within the organization including but not limited to administering various payroll functions, meeting documentation preparation, online employee training program, general accounting support, and office supply controls. Interacts with staff, members, and vendors providing assistance and support as needed
Requirements: Associate's degree in related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions
At least one year related experience is required, preferably in a financial entity.
Computer skills required, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent business communication skills and ability to multi-task are critical
Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience helpful
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
