AuPairCare is currently searching for a professional and independent Area Director who lives in the Greater New Haven, CT area to service Guilford, Lyme, Madison, Niantic, Essex, Hamden, Meriden, Milford, North Haven, Wallingford and Woodbridge. AuPairCare is the leading au pair agency providing live-in childcare services to American families since 1989. Designated by the Department of State, AuPairCare's cultural exchange program offers host families an alternative for their childcare needs while giving the family and au pair a unique cultural experience.

Our local Area Directors are vital members of the AuPairCare team. As an Area Director, you experience first-hand the powerful connection between AuPairCare's American host families and their au pairs from overseas. Area Directors also play a key role in building the AuPairCare brand in their communities. Through grass-roots marketing and networking, you will build your region and earn exciting financial rewards for doing so. This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy meeting and working with people and developing friendships worldwide.

Job responsibilities include actively marketing the AuPairCare program to increase host family participation, conducting in-home interviews and arrival orientations with host families and au pairs, providing education and support to program participants, facilitating a positive placement experience and creating and holding monthly cultural events. Area Directors are the face of AuPairCare in their communities and are supported by a strong team of field managers and corporate staff.

Have fun and earn money while utilizing your marketing and customer service skills to educate families in your community about AuPairCare. The ideal candidate for this flexible part-time position will possess excellent communication, marketing and sales skills. A college degree or comparable experience is a plus. AuPairCare's Area Director Compensation plan provides income for servicing host families as well as strong bonus incentives for increasing program participation.
